With the way things are going...Nine people are dead. Even getting to the end of this, how many of us do you think will be left? A handful? Or less? There's no point to this, it's just slaughter. This isn't Aather, but it's not Sabra La Tau either. However their games might have gone, we can't assume it will be the same here. I don't just want to give up and accept this. I can't.
And the consequences for rule-breaking include death with no chance for revival. Not just for us, but for the people we care about.
So what's worse, Apple? We finish the game as quickly and painlessly as possible so everyone can come back? Or we try to circumvent the rules and get not only ourselves, but our loved ones killed forever?
There are two Mouths, one Heart, and the rest of a team. If the goal is to prevent the Mouths from eating anyone, then we would either need to find an alternative food source for the Mouths, or somehow prevent them from killing. The latter sounds like the better option, but I don't know what kind of repercussions it would have.
. . . the former and the latter options would go hand in hand.

There's plenty of food around here. Goats, weird lizard things, rabbits. . . you could try bringing them into the game and feeding them that. Maybe it'd be enough to satiate them.

Date: 2012-07-08 01:33 am (UTC)Don't accept it. Never accept it. The moment you do is the moment they win.
But all games end eventually. Make your decisions and bide your time for when you can fight back.
