Apple's thoughts on Kit's heart game!

UHM gosh I'm too tired for this I will probably come back and add more on in the morning b-but she was actually relatively...okay with it? At the end, at least! No, not okay, what is the word. Tired. Yes. ICly she is very TIRED of heart games and she mentioned to Shark that she doesn't think they're necessary, and she doesn't! Red's heart and Judith's heart she didn't really seek to change anything; her goal in hearts is always to just find the person whose heart it is (she kind of instinctively seeks out the true heart, basically). And because she's aware her heart game messed her up and has seen hearts messing other people up, the very idea of them is distressing. Her changes are very tentative, and most of the time she just tries to ask the true heart for confirmation whether or not it's okay, or if she should go fix something. (Shark's heart pissed her off because she couldn't goddamn find Shark and when she was about to break the mirror to see if it would lead him to her, she hesitated and didn't. And by the time she got back Kazuki had reinforced it...tangentially :B) She's spent the last like...idk I think it's been 2 IC weeks, or 3? Dealing with hearts that got screwed up last time. So going into this one, and having it be Kit's heart, was terrifying. She knows he hates heart games and she...likes him the way he is, with all of his flaws! Even if it pisses her off sometimes, she doesn't want to go into people and change them.

So! When Kit's heart said "come and get me~" she was relieved, because she figured it would keep everyone in line searching for Kit and they wouldn't mess with anything. And that's her goal in hearts anyways, so it aligned with what she wanted to do! It was also...Kit, so on some level she had the idea that nothing would hurt her, because Kit wouldn't hurt her :|a THIS IS A MISPLACED IDEA SHE HAS ABOUT HEARTS and she knows it is because she knows people get hurt in hearts, but SHE has never gotten hurt in a heart so she lets herself keep believing in that. And her trust in Kit to not hurt her was what led her to nonchalantly bet her key in poker :') because it's something she needs to keep her safe from the Darkness so even if she lost it she had faith he'd give it back to her. BETTING MY THINGS AWAY IS SHOWING I TRUST YOU, KIT!!!

what am I talking about again ANYWAYS SHE HIT ALL THE SURFACE STUFF and then they found the Kit and she was pleased until it sunk in that not everyone was there and people had wandered off and shit what if they're touching things no. But when Kit kept being like I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO DOWN THERE :( she...would have stayed, at that last comment. She was already fretting over the purple paint because even though she was like NO THIS IS A GOOD THING Kira flipped out and she'd messed up by taking the book so she was very .-. maybe I will sit on my hands and do nothing now that I found Kit. BUT THEN he was like no you can go and well if Kit says she can go into the parts of his heart that he's scared of then maybe that means I don't screw things up and I will go drag everyone back up here '-'!!! If she had walked in on Shark and Canary in ANY OTHER ROOM where they were messing with stuff she might have let her anger get the better of her and bitched them out. For existing in Kit's basement ;A; Look sometimes there are things you put in the basement that no one is allowed to find and it is okay that means you are normal we live death games shhhhhh. But she didn't know what they'd done! So it's not like she could yell at them when she didn't know the whole situation. And what part of it had been them or Alena and no matter who it was she just knew things had been changed so she was freaking out because. Uhm change in a heart game means you turn out like Fire or Shark. ...And then she ended up helping tear down the helplessness because she touched it and :') hates that feeling :') that is a feeling that can go.

I really have no idea what the original question was OOPS but by the end it didn't seem like anything had been damaged and Kit kept saying he'd be okay. By the end of Shark's heart she KNEW something had gone wrong, but with Kit's she didn't feel like that. And he was...mm, tired but relaxed? By the end of it, so she figured he'd be okay. Having him start crying in endgame was...worrisome, yes, because she knows he hates crying in front of other people :( But she is tired of heart games so just, mm, emotionally drained from them, and she believes Kit will be okay as long as they repeatedly punch him in the feelings '-'b

i don't even know if this answers your question but i think i hit everything REVERSEDMANIT I CAN'T REVERSE THAT THIS QUESTION IS SILLY. Maybe you should tell me how Kit's dealing with it even though he's only been in like one post since his heart game

MOST IMMEDIATELY he feels very very... weak right now. Waking up crying without knowing why he was crying was horrible on so many levels. One, he hates crying in front of people. Two, he had to be comforted and taken care of by other people when he's usually the one doing the comforting. Three, he was told it's because he had a heart game and something happened during it and heart games are awful and invasive and he feels so incredibly exposed right now. Which is really bad for him because Kit is a character of masks and facades, and the moment you tear those down is the moment he panics. He can already kind of tell what was done to him, as he feels so miserable and isn't even trying to lie about it, which basically tells him that they must've broke something in SADNESS or in POKER FACE. The latter part trips him out a lot because he's come to rely on that ability to pretend he's okay. It's sort of a comfort coping mechanism for him, as unhealthy as it is. He is trying his best to brush his discomfort with that off as well but in all honesty he's just coming off as extremely tired, which... is about as much as he can manage right now. He is aware that he hasn't been changed on a huge level, which is a relief to him! But the extra guilt and the extra sadness and the weakened poker face will make him a little more fragile for an ic day or three. He does feel like he'll recover! He just isn't sure when or to what degree. (Secretly the guilt and sadness will go back to normal levels with time but the weakened poker face is here to stay).

Beyond feeling like a weak mess he is also sick and tired of heart games. THERE HAVE BEEN TOO MANY THIS WEEK :(

Tell meeee why Apple ran from Rapunzel when she came back.

To put it simply she just FREAKED OUT when she saw Bubbles and has at least three memories that have been like “I DON’T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THESE FEELINGS -> RUN AWAY” so she acted on impulse. A lot of it ended up getting tied around her memories, because she got back certain ones when Bubbles was brought up; like right after Selenia first mentioned Bubbles to Apple she got back a memory of being like “MAYBE THEY'RE GOING TO ASK ME TO LEAVE THE CASTLE BECAUSE I'M NOT NEEDED ANYMORE .-.” And she got another part of that memory recently, so whenever she takes that it will not help the situation. She is very aware of the fact that she replaced Bubbles. So she internalized this tiny little feeling of “if Bubbles is back they won't need me anymore” but this is also a VERY SILLY FEELING so she ignored it :U (And maybe she doesn’t want to be on a team anyways so whatever!!)  But every time Selenia would bring her up (because I think it was always Selenia who brought her up) there would be this little “.-. oh” feeling. EVEN THOUGH SELENIA FIGURED IT OUT and specifically told her that she wasn't a replacement, too. She believes him and knows she isn’t! She is her own person, fullstop. But because she is so stubbornly refusing to let it get to her she’s not facing her feelings and is left with this odd mess of “I know there isn’t anything wrong and I’m acting irrationally but I’m going to be irrational anyways.” There’s also a weird feeling there because she’s been told that Bubbles is a great person, but she doesn’t know how she’s supposed to feel about Bubbles because she’s never talked to her??? She doesn’t actually know this person??? Topping that with her being the third new person to arrive within a matter of days was just overwhelming when Sapphire has been the same set of people for so long. Apple also hasn’t gotten back a lot of memories with…emotional competency :’D (and Aather is not a place that supports emotional competency so without her memories to help her out there really isn’t anything) Most of them have been like I CAN’T HANDLE THESE FEELINGS HELP so when Bubbles arrived she just wasn’t emotionally equipped to not Freak Out at the sight of her. SO SHE RAN /o/ #healthy

 Tell me how Kit is settling with all the new Iris kids!

Gosh Kit is already ridiculously fond and protective of Iris, and he's finally beginning to gain some Iris dere because of them. They're very different from Coral to him... instead of being family, they're like a group of bros, which is good because I don't think he could conceptualize two teams as family. As the most experienced person on the team he's kind of taking it upon himself to make decisions and BE THE LEADER (to the point of where Swift even called him a Leader), which is also different from Coral because while he takes it upon himself to make decisions for Coral as well (especially in bad games), Coral is more or less on the same page experience-wise and recognizes that they are all on the same level rather than needing only one person to take charge. HE LOVES AND MISSES CORAL SO MUCH IN DECO, but he is putting his focus onto this new group of bb amnesiacs that he has been put in charge of and will do his best to love and take care of and make all of them as comfortable as he can. KIT LOVES IRIS he will take care of Iris foreverrrr

Tell me about Shirayuki and her Sage feels, have they changed any?

Nnnnnnno. OR, I guess I shouldn’t say that, since now she at least recognizes that there are people on her team who would be willing to support her choices. But one of those people was Kaito and he is in the Bigger Picture now. She knows Elliot will support her and she knows Kuroko will support her, but she doesn’t know about Ginger and Ivy. Ginger it’s safe to assume he won’t, after what he did in the string game, and she won’t ever trust him after that :|a And Ivy made lots of unsure faces when Shirayuki was upfront in saying “by the way we will never hurt people ever.” As a whole group she doesn’t feel connected to them and in no way feels like they are a team; they certainly have moments, but they are few and far between and have never been moments experienced by the collective whole of them. Her and Elliot have made progress with regards to communicating with each other and she has kind of started to rely on him. He’s the only original Sage left besides her, so they’re at least bonded in their seniority. She and Kuroko have a slightly different relationship in that she tries to protect him and he tries to be more on equal footing with her, but I’d say overall they’re good too. But the people she trusts and relies on the most are not on Sage, which sticks out to her a lot! Overall things are the same as before, she’s just less vocal about it. 

Pepper’s thoughts on Amethyst turnover?

The turnover has disheartened her a little, not because she doesn't like any of the newer members, but because it's been a REALLY BIG and REALLY FAST turnover that happened so suddenly. She really liked all of the Amethysts who have left, so them being gone does make her sad, but it's honestly the suddenness of the turnover and Amethyst's seeming helplessness to do anything about it that bothers her the most. She plans on welcoming the newer members as much as she can, but she will continue to be frustrated over the fact that there isn't anything for them to do to get their lost members back, or to stop the bookings from happening again.

Haruki's thoughts on Kazuki's heart game?

He's just.........glad Kazuki seems okay??? Like no one probably broke anything??? That's good!! It was his first heart game and it was very bizarre so he's just kind of ?????????????? Okay. Okay, sure. Also Saryuu get out :U He just spent most of it being like...maybe I will try to help while I'm here since Kazuki is always sad OH LOOK IT'S SARYUU hissssss tsun tsun h-he was so tsun at Saryuu he didn't want big Kazuki he just wanted little Kazuki stop trying to top me with feelings ;A;!!! Quietly overloads on feelings in Kazuki's heart oops. I dunno he's still kind of sorting out his feelings but he is mostly bewildered and glad everyone is okay???

No I mean she will probably just act like she usually does? She is concerned and wants to make sure he's okay but she knows she'd hate being fussed over in his situation so she doesn't want to fuss over him. She'll leave it be unless it comes up. Sheeee might intentionally steer the conversation away from him and be like "hey let's talk about this thing I saw and let me tell you about me oh you don't want to take memories haha I've been that way since people got out of my heart I think it's normal by the way have you seen Berry at all also we should have dinner sometime all together since coral and sapphire are kind of married or something" except with less run on sentence I assume. Basically she will try not to make a big deal out of it as long as he doesn't.
