And more than being fond of her, Mint actually respects her opinions and way of thinking, even if she doesn't agree. Apple is like the princess Mint was always scolded to be growing up, kind and fair and pretty and ladylike and principled, and somehow instead of being irritated or jealous she is completely charmed by Apple instead. It is probably because Apple has always been respectful to her, warts (and fire magic) and all. And that...doesn't really happen to Mint? It totally is a baffling, soft feeling that she does not know what to do with but ugh so nice ugh

Is there anything you're hoping to do in Deco in the upcoming weeks?

Nothing in particular! Shirayuki is going to be sad at Obi over Zen being gone, and eventually get a new teammate to be awkwardly fail at. There, hmm, isn’t really much to “do” outside of games as a noncombatant in an area that has various monsters, so I just kind of see what happens. I know that at SOME point I want to try to get her to expand the range of medical supplies they have and get a good proper clinic area set up, since the actual clinic being in the tower basically means no one uses it ever. And she is setting up a bunch of planters in Sage to grow things but plants will ICly take a long time to grow, so nothing will happen with that for a while. So basically just…setting stuff up so that it can get somewhere eventually? I will just need to make sure to ask for things when supply games come around :|a   

Any app plans?

Usually I would say no except that I apped last time ha ha. But really for a while now I have been kicking around a dumb idea for a dumb NPC that would run frivolous creative games and high school-style popularity contests. But I am dubious of my ability to create games that would be interesting at all? so I'm basically hoping this idea will go away. /o/

How are you feeling with your lineup(s) right now?

Pretty good! I feel like it’s overall a decent balance with regards to character personalities and game range. Sometimes I get an itch to app just to have someone new in my lineup, but I’d have to drop someone first because that would be too many characters for me and I am trying to have some semblance of character balance. And I like all of the characters I play too much to drop any of them. It just feels weird having a steady list for so long without a new character thrown in the mix :|a

Any plans for Mint, like some kind of character arc or general shenanigans you want her to get into?

Nothing in particular? I'd like to keep building up her relationships, especially with Shell! I've guilty pleasure in silly friendtimes, but I'd kinda like to get her into some trouble--she is an abrasive character so she ought to have at least a few enemies or rivals. If possible I'd like to somehow engage in the plot but...eh, between me being a flake and her only caring about certain things, it might not work out but ~we'll see~ ...But in general I am bad at planning ahead so I tend to just kinda go with the flow.

So what is the biggest difference between Aather!Apple and Deco!Apple?

Hmmm, I would say…extremes, maybe? Deco!Apple is far more stubborn and extreme in her actions and ideals, which tends to be where strife comes in. She’ll get frustrated more quickly and snap and yell or bulldoze in order to get her way, and she is 110% opposed to hurting anyone in competitions—even dealing minor injuries to anyone is Not Allowed. Even if she gets killed for it, DON’T CARE, NOT HURTING ANYONE. Aather!Apple more or less has the same beliefs, but she is more willing to compromise and think things through rationally (most of the time). She will listen to what course of action the others want to take and find a way to bend the system. It doesn’t always work, and she’ll still snap, but she’s much more level headed than Deco!Apple. 

If Mint could pick and choose who was on her team, would she pick anyone else or leave Shell as it is?

Hmm...that's actually a pretty good question. She is not having any major strife with anyone on Shell right now, which is both kinda cool and kinda making me worry I'm doing something wrong. And she is fond of them to various extents. In a generous mood, she would kick off Tamaki and maybe Teddie because she knows that the way she plays (to win) can be painful for them. Similarly, she'd ship Kaoru off to Iris because he gets ~so irritating~ and he needs support most of Shell can't provide. Though, as for who she'd trade for... Really, so long as they are willing to let her play to win, she doesn't really care who can more-or-less deal with anyone on her team.

Haha she would kick everyone off Sage and be a one-lady team because she doesn’t like teams. If Elliot yelled at her enough he could stay. But honestly the safest place for her friends to be is NOT ON HER TEAM because she knows her way of playing is borderline suicidal, but she’s not changing how she plays.
