No that explanation actually made sense! …Di[e]ce is basically “lots of teenage boys have UST at each other and are super codependent and their lives are horrible the end.” It starts off as look these boys have perfectly normal teenage lives and have been bros forever also when they turn sixteen they are suddenly dragged into death games for no apparent reason other than a higher power wants to mess with them terribly. Also everyone has a look-alike. There’s ridiculous amounts of symbolism and it basically goes through how Kazuki starts off crazy and goes kind of normal and how Haruki starts off normal and then goes kind of crazy but it’s not his fault because an evil closet made him that way. The minor characters go through little backstory arcs about how their lives were horrible before they met their Kings and then they vanish into the background. Except no just Kazuki’s team gets that, Haruki’s team doesn’t get backstory. Everything is sad and then it gets retconned and turns into a dating sim but we never see the dating sim part you just know it’s there. …I am the worst at explaining any of my canons I’m sorry.
